It started in the 1800s in the US, somewhere direction south but not too deep, and a bit rugged. A young woman was being hunted for some stupid ~offense~ by which her "unladylike attitude" had not helped her, and ended up running through the forest in one of the common frilly cotton layered dresses of the time. She didn't completely evade them when she came to a carnival ride right among the trees. It was a carousel-style ride with no canopy, different vehicles and other things to ride in just going around and around. The man who seemed to own this contraption, which was a blatant anachronism, was the one who was apparently Johnny Depp, although I would not have recognized him as such. He had messy dark hair and a 5 o'clock shadow and was dressed in a filthy faded black or very dark gray suit of the early 1800s with a messy frock and scarf that might have, at some point early in their careers as articles of clothing, been white or cream. One of the men who had been chasing the woman jumped into the same car the suited character was sitting in, and the suited man just observed him with a cocked expression. The chasing man was a stereotypical southern well-to-do non-gentlemanly type, bulbous, loud, and self-righteous. Thinking himself so clever, he smelled a brand of tobacco they had been referring to as "JC" and said it must be a woman smoking. (Apparently this was a women's brand, and this woman being chased was known to smoke it.) I don't know if I became the woman at that point or if I was someone else but I walked through the forest too, and the further I walked the more modern the anachronisms became. At first I thought, "What an awfully historically inaccurate movie!" (LOL omg) and then I thought, "Wait, maybe this has something to do with the movie, I am being too ~judgmental~" (lol @ my dream self) Eventually I was completely out of the forest but the suited man was no longer there and I was wondering atop some mountains that very much reminded me of Pennsylvania...
