You must be an Idiot: Obama, Clayworth, and Tiger

Has there ever been a bigger media whore as President of the United States? Obama puts Clinton to shame. It seems like every time I can turn off politics for a few hours and enjoy some football or something, President Obama finds a way to ruin it.
The latest example is the TV commercial for NFL PLAY 60 and the United We Serve program that encourages kids to be active for 60 minutes every day in order to combat the epidemic of childhood obesity. It’s a good cause, but the last thing I want to see on Thanksgiving is Barack Obama being on the receiving end of an over dramatic pass from Drew Brees.
Here are a couple of questions. One, if we are trying to get kids active for 60 minutes, why is Obama running the passing routes and not the kids? Two, Obama flips the ball to a kid who is sitting on the shoulders of DeMarcus Ware. If the point is getting 60 minutes of exercise, why is this little girl getting carried around? DeMarcus is an athlete. I’m pretty sure he works out. Three, Why is Drew Brees the only White Dude at the White House? Seriously, where is the diversity?
President Obama, I’m sick of seeing you every time I turn on the TV, PLEASE GO AWAY, you’re an idiot.

Last Friday, Des Moines Register reporter Jason Clayworth wrote an article about Stu Iverson making a legislative comeback. I broke the Iverson story Friday morning. While I’m not surprised that the story made its way to the traditional media, you would think that a news organization like Register would acknowledge where they got their story from. How embarrassing must it be for the Des Moines Register? They are getting scooped by this website on a weekly or daily basis.
